7 Positive thoughts to kick start your day!

This weeks blog is a short but sweet one. We would love for you to say these 7 things to yourself everyday for a week and record your mood. Do they make a difference? Did you start to believe them? Did they help you grow this week? Please let us know in the comments how you get on!


1. I will do my best.

What does your best entail today?

2. My friends choose to be in my life, so they do like me for who I am.

People don’t have to stay in your life if they don’t want too, don’t worry about them not liking you, if they are sticking around they do!

3. I am intelligent.

Intelligence isn’t granular. What do you know that makes you knowledgable? What do you specialise in?

4. I will make time to do the things I love.

If you prioritise this, everything else won’t seem as much of a chore because you are still giving yourself self respect by prioritising YOU,

5. I am allowed opinions.

Don’t let anyone suppress your thoughts and feelings, you can think and believe what you want.

6. I am grateful for my home.

Not everyone has a roof over there heads in this world, look at the bigger picture when you are feeling down.

7. I don’t need to be perfect.


Nobody is perfect. It is a unrealistic expectation and will only cause stress.


So, self compassion, self love and self care is immensely important and is not selfish.

However we must remember to grow and develop and to do this you have to analyse and reflect on how you act, respond and behave. You must have Self love alongside self awareness.
